Radix Bay, a world-class business IT consulting and solutions provider, announced plans for a SharePoint migration project for a large city in Southern California.

Radix Bay consultants will help the client convert, install, configure and leverage SharePoint for on premise and in the cloud. The migration includes three applications to be converted from Lotus Notes to SharePoint.

As a Microsoft Silver Partner, Radix Bay consultants have extensive expertise in SharePoint and an understanding of integration and co-existence with Lotus Notes. They will work with the city’s IT team to customize migration needs and ensure a successful project deployment.

“We are excited to work with the city to improve the efficiency and access of internal information,” said Greg Lovette, CEO of Radix Bay. “Our proven SharePoint methodology and migration framework allows our clients to realize maximum value from a seamless upgrade.”

The applications to be migrated for this project include: a Leave Request System to track when employees request time off, a Change Request Management System that enables and tracks changes in leave requests and an Event Calendar used by the Mayor and City Council to publish and view meetings and schedules.

The client is one of many transitioning away from Notes to the more robust and efficient features of SharePoint. The converted applications will result in cost savings, business process efficiencies and more collaborative decision making.

In order to deliver maximum quality and cost efficiencies, Radix Bay will be leveraging onshore and offshore resources. The project is expected to take 6 weeks.
