Radix Bay, a world-class business IT consulting and solutions provider, announced it has been chosen to design and build an integrated data warehouse for a manufacturer of aircraft engines.

Radix Bay consultants will collaborate with the client to design and build an enterprise data warehouse, search and reporting solution to consolidate disparate data from several systems related to the sourcing, design, production, maintenance and quality control of an aircraft engine.

The client chose Radix Bay after receiving a prompt proposal that met the company’s need for a collaborative approach to solving the challenges of consolidating large amounts of complex data from multiple sources.

“Radix Bay is pleased to have been chosen to work on this important IT initiative,” said Greg Lovette, CEO of Radix Bay. “We look forward to providing our client with the architecture and solution needed to meet their business needs.”

The integrated data warehouse will provide the client with the ability to search the structured and non-structured data related to the entire lifecycle of an engine from a single enterprise portal while ensuring regulatory compliance concerning the export of technical data.

The solution will give users the ability to track the performance of component parts, quickly detect problems and conduct root cause analysis. By centralizing complex data sets from internal and external sources, the data warehouse will also deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.

The first phase of the project includes conducting requirements definition and selection of an architecture for the integrated data warehouse and reporting solution.
