January 29, 2015 – Radix Bay announced it has successfully completed a SharePoint migration project for a large city in Southern California. The new solution allows for mobile access and increased efficiency for the city’s more than 2,500 SharePoint users.

The project included the migration of the city’s leave request system, event calendars and change management system from custom Lotus Notes applications to the SharePoint platform.

Radix Bay used a mix of on-shore and off-shore resources to provide a single integrated solution that replaces three separate applications. The new solution provides centralized administration and configuration of all three systems while providing the ability for managers to administer users and application features at the departmental level.

“Our experienced Microsoft consultants were able to provide the client with a seamless migration, resulting in more efficient business processes and collaborative decision making,” said Greg Lovette, CEO of Radix Bay.

The solution allows for anytime, anywhere mobile and remote access. It also includes notifications and integrations with Outlook calendars.
